“Converting Your Pyramid to Your Sales Funnel?” The reason why I say that is because I was at work today and I saw some friends. We were actually at a training. We started talking and then out of the blue one of them said, “Hey, did you see this guy on Facebook making his video? I saw his little video.
“How is your little pyramid scheme coming? This dude's always trying to sell something. Last year it was this, the year before it was that. This guy always got a scam, always got a pyramid going.”
In the past I would get upset and try to defend what I was doing and this time I didn't.
I've been doing a lot of personal development. I've been reading, mindset training, getting coaching. It dawned on me, “You know what? Some people will never, they're not going to get it, and they're not going to have to get it.
I'm going to let my actions prove my point over time. They're going to see the results. What surprised me was that they never commented on my videos, on my postings. I was surprised to know that they were being exposed to it, that they had been watching it.
They've been watching quietly from afar, silently. “Oh, so you followed it. Yeah, really? Wow.”
That showed me something. “Hmm, okay. I'm reaching more people than I think I'm reaching.” Just because you're not getting likes and you're not getting comments doesn't mean that people are not in the backdrop just observing, observing your actions.
What that prompted me to do was, “You know what? I'm not going to get upset.” I went back to my desk and I opened up my Facebook groups and I started doing some more posting because we were on a break. I did about 20 postings. As a result of that, two hours later I get notification I've got two leads. Two. Two leads in about two hours. I'm like, “Hmm, so it's working.”
It motivated me to come home and make this post. It's motivated me to produce more content, better content, more consistent content. Over time I'll answer them with the results, not with words but just with results. And let attraction marketing do what it's going to do.
I love what I'm doing and I love how I'm changing. I'm learning that you don't have to respond to those negative comments. You don't have to respond to people who are naysayers about the industry, about what you're doing because in time I'm going to have a pension like they're going to have a pension. I also will have an extra income coming in without working an extra job, without having to leave my house.
That's why I'm doing this. I want multiple streams of income. I just don't want to have to drive for Uber. If I wanted to drive for Uber I'll drive for Uber or if I wanted to work at a park I'll work at a park or a part-time gig somewhere. If that's what I choose to do. Maybe I may not choose to go in that day and I don't want to be in fear of getting fired.
That's what a full-time job instills in you, you have to perform, which is cool. I've worked for a number of years and I'm getting to the point where I'm almost ready to retire. Until that time, I'm not there yet and so I have to report to my job and I have to put in my hours.
After I retire and even before I want income coming in from other sources, so this is why I found marketing and internet marketing online because it allows me to reach everyone. Or if I wanted to target and just reach those in my city, I can do that as well.
So in your job, and at your business, in your lifestyle, whatever it is, when you get those naysayers and they are accusing you of owning or having a pyramid, just smile. You know that with your actions, with your self-development, personal development, with your producing good content, with your getting coaching, you are learning strategies, you are going to trainings, you are developing yourself. You are converting your pyramid into your sales funnel. I wanted to leave that with you. Make sure that you take this to heart and apply it to your business.
